The RF Antenna & Radome Team at Raytheon is seeking a talented Engineer to join our team in Tucson, AZ.

The candidate will be responsible for leading and shaping antenna, radome, and antenna measurement system technology within the Company. The selected candidate will also be expected to contribute to diverse teams, provide technical oversight, delegate tasks, and work with the Engineering organizations to establish technology roadmaps, enable modernization, and contribute to general innovation. In addition, the candidate will work with government personnel and programs, and define and refine requirements to validate hardware compliance.

This position is an onsite role, located in Tucson, AZ.

What You Will Do:

+ Develop of antenna or radome hardware and requirements

+ Work with interdisciplinary engineering teams including thermal, structural, mechanical, systems, etc.

+ Work with antenna manufacturing suppliers

+ Analyze simulation or test data to verify performance to requirements

Qualifications You Must Have:

+ Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience to include any combination of the following:

+ Antenna element design and fabrication

+ Antenna simulation and modeling

+ Antenna measurements in near or far field systems

+ The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

+ Master of Science (MS) or PhD in electrical engineering

+ Strong experience managing and presenting technical data to stakeholders and customers in design reviews and technical interchange meetings

+ Strong experience designing and delivering conformal antenna designs

+ Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written

+ Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities from multiple sources

+ Strong interpersonal skills working in a team environment with positive interaction

+ Demonstrated ability to put forth and drive technical execution plans

+ Experience presenting to FRB, ERB, CCB, MRB, etc.

+ Understanding of near-field-to-far-field processing algorithms

+ Ability to design near-field-to-far-field processing algorithms

+ Understanding of complex threat environments and battlefields

+ Experience designing datalink, flight termination, and telemetry antenna systems

+ Experience designing GPS antenna systems

+ Experience with being a Cost Account Manager or Integrate Product Team Lead

+ Proficiency with Python, MATAB and/or other high level scientific programming languages

+ Proficiency with high performance computing (HPC) environments and schedulers such as SLURM

+ Proficiency with modeling & simulation tools such as HFSS, CST, FEKO, SENTRi and GRASP

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. The Test Equipment Engineering (TEE) includes all of the engineering disciplines responsible for systems design & test with all Raytheon products. Our engineers are responsible for all elements of the development lifecycle for test including: test requirements, test system design, flight simulations, hardware-in-the-loop, computer-in-the-loop, advanced engineering prototyping technology, flight operations for manned and unmanned vehicles, environmental testing, environmental characterization and engineering laboratory management. As part of the Test Environment Support Administration (TESA) team, you be working with both leading-edge technologies and legacy systems to support multiple products and programs throughout Raytheon. You will provide Test Equipment (TE) integration, security consultation, troubleshooting, sustainment, and compliance with the ultimate responsibility to maintain test integrity and the availability for our test systems.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

+ Providing technical expertise on Hardware-in-Loop (HWIL) type systems to TESA’s integration team.

+ Providing Cybersecurity compliance guidance to engineering for production and procurement of TE

+ Supporting Flight Test capabilities and processes for Raytheon test systems

+ Developing Cybersecurity compliant TE (Linux, IOS, Windows)

+ Install software packages/updates to enhance operations and testing of production hardware.

+ Troubleshoot production and development TE to ensure connectivity, functionality, compliance, and test integrity.

+ Collaborate with Digital Technologies to integrate TE to controlled networks or enterprises.

+ Collaborate with Cybersecurity to ensure TE compliance (using tools such as Nessus, Splunk, Ivanti, and locally procured software

+ Collaborate with engineering to ensure changes do not affect the availability or test integrity on the TE

+ Support any and all reviews required prior for implementation of any changes to the TE.

Qualifications You Must Have

+ Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and eight (8) years’ prior relevant experience OR an Advanced STEM degree and 5 years' prior relevant experience is typically required.

+ Experience with systems administration of Linux, Networking, and/or Windows (in desktop or server environments).

+ 3-5 years of Linux systems administration experience.

+ Experience with user account management, software installation and/or technical customer support.

+ Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

+ Current DoD 8570.01m IAT II certified credentials (Sec+, CISM, etc.) or higher

Qualifications We Prefer:

+ Master of Science degree in STEM.

+ Experience working in a DoD Special Access Programs environment.

+ ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

+ Strong knowledge and experience with Windows, Linux (operating systems in desktop and server environments).

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. What part will you play?

The Design Engineer (DE) is a member of the Project Engineering Electronic Security Systems (ESS) team and a supporting contributor to the support of client design projects. The DE reports directly to the Senior Manager for Project Engineering. The DE will provide support through the design project life cycle from sales concept to design development, construction drawings to construction administration support. As a technical resource on a project team, you will be instrumental in the determination and execution of client and system requirements and will collaborate with support teams to bring your design to life. Through our groundbreaking workflow, you’ll have access to incredible technology and tools to help you articulate and deliver your design while being supported by global resources.

The DE will be supported and mentored by Senior Design Engineers, and will maintain both primary and supportive roles on complex ESS projects through direction of the DEM.

+ Contributor for complex engagements and works directly with clients and the Design Engineering team to develop specifications, designs, budgets, timelines and manage expectations.

+ Conceptualize system designs and determine system requirements

Complexity:

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that may be met by an employee. Work will normally be performed within normal office conditions and/or home office depending on location of DE. On occasions the employee may be exposed to construction site conditions. Employee will be responsible for their safety while on job sites and to comply with all safety regulations in place by the GC. Use of PPE is usually required on job sites. **Job Description - Student Intern, Electrical Engineer (Power Production)**

**Position Description**

The role is to assist in the documentation of existing systems and development and implementation of Power Plant Projects.

**This internship is part-time hours during the school year, and full-time hours during school breaks. This position is 100% on-site at our Power Plant/Irvington location, with no option for remote work**

**Position-Related Responsibilities**

+ Review and submittal of Engineering Documents to assist in the completion of projects

+ Utilizing Engineering documents to ensure properly labeled plant equipment according to TEP standard

+ Create system drawing packages for established processes to expedite troubleshooting

+ Review field equipment in comparisons with engineering drawings to ensure correctness

+ Assist Engineering group in routine problem solving using fundamental principles of mathematics and physics

**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**

+ Must be actively enrolled as a student at an accredited college or university and pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.

+ Must have an expected graduation date of May 2025 or later

+ Must have a high level of interpersonal skills and the ability to protect highly sensitive and confidential information

+ Must be able to meet deadlines

+ Must demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills

+ Must possess functional knowledge of Microsoft Office products

+ Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment

**Requirements**

+ Must be able to work up to 20 hours per week during regular business hours; and up to 40 hours per week during summer and school breaks depending on the business needs.Student Interns must maintain the required hours for full-time student status, good academic standing at their college or university, as defined by the college or university and the GPA required for graduation by their college or university.

+ Failure to maintain full-time status, good academic standing and/or the required GPA will result in Student Interns being deemed ineligible for participation in this program.

+ Scheduling of work hours and assignments should be made taking into consideration that Student Interns are students first and employees second.

+ Travel to and from Downtown Headquarters and Irvington campus as needed.

+ Must possess a valid driver’s license and the ability to maintain it.

**Pay Rate:** $17+ depending on experience and qualifications
