Site Reliability Engineers are members of our Site Reliability Operations team. Site Reliability Engineers design, implement, and monitor tooling, systems and infrastructure that support our customer-facing SaaS applications spanning several virtual and cloud environments, worldwide. We are seeking a highly experienced Expert Reliability Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in reducing lead times for burn-in ovens within military standards, specifically within the medical device or related fields. This role involves updating and implementing a new burn-in process to replace dated processes, with the goal of significantly decreasing or eliminating the current burn-in process.

The Technology Development Analytics and Technology Automation (TD ATA) Manufacturing Execution Systems team is seeking an experienced software developer to design, develop, test and support software control systems used to automate factory equipment in Intel's manufacturing facilities worldwide.

In this role, you will be responsible for automation software enhancement and maintenance to enable manufacturing success. The position requires the ability to independently manage work assignments and complete project lifecycle management (from requirement analysis to deployment and support).

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

+ Analyzing the customer requirements and designing software solutions to meet requirements. Maintaining clear communications with customers and stakeholders.

+ Creating robust, reliable, and high-performance applications that satisfy all customer and operational needs.

+ Creating and running test suites to prove the functionality, reliability, and performance of the applications you develop.

+ Providing expert level support to factory technicians and process engineers on use of these applications.

Duties will also include consultation with customers and partners on software applications that are used by end users. We seek candidates that are adept with modern software development methodologies and programming languages and possess experience in the areas listed below.

+ Analyze user stories,

+ Writes both functional and test code,

+ Automates build and deployment activities,

+ Performs end to end testing of applications for quality assurance,

+ Completes Security Development Lifecycle (SDL) tasks with the assistance of product security engineers and follows secure coding practices and software legal compliance guidelines,

+ Provides input to technical writers to complete product documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.

+ This position may also interact with end users in order to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications. Constructively responds to ambiguous requirements and situations.

**Qualifications**

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

**What we need to see (Minimum Qualifications):**

+ Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of experience, or Master's degree with 2+ years of experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline.

+ US Citizenship required.

+ Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Security Clearance.

+ 2+ years of experience in the following:

+ Software design and development.

+ Programming using C#, Java, or C++.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience, or Master's degree with 3+ years of experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline.

+ Active US Government Security Clearance, with a minimum of Secret level.

+ 3+ years of experience in Factory Automation with development and support in mission critical systems.
