The Manfredsson laboratory at Barrow Neurological Institute is currently hiring several highly motivated Research Faculty within the areas of gene therapy neurodegeneration and electrophysiology. The group is focused on developing novel gene therapy modalities to study and treat neurodegeneration and associated symptomology with a primary focus on Parkinson’s disease. The position is catered to all levels however Junior/Research Faculty with a NIH ESI status will be given special consideration. Our group practices team science utilizing a multitude of interdisciplinary approaches in our research ranging from electrophysiology to viral vector design and production. Our research outcomes range from molecular biology omics and histology. Although we are interested in all research backgrounds priority will be given to fellows with experience in either in vivo fiber photometry ex vivo electrophysiology and calcium imaging. A second priority is experience with DNA/RNA and molecular biology advanced viral vector engineering and in vivo assessment processing of human post-mortem brain specimens and next-gen sequencing and analysis. Experience with computer programming will be considered a plus. Research Faculty in the laboratory are expected to take the lead on a multitude of projects contribute to grant writing and supervise junior trainees. Required: PhD MD or equivalent. Highly collegial and works well on a team. Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate with precision and tact. Meticulous record keeping; proficiency with databases.

**Position Requirements and Preferences:**

The Department of Teaching and Learning at Northern Arizona University provides education programs to prepare pre-service teachers and support in-service teachers to be competent and committed professionals who will make positive differences in the lives of children and young adults. About the Position
This is a one-year Assistant Teaching Professor/Lecturer (non-tenure-track). The appointment will begin with the Spring 2025 academic semester. Driving Requirement

Compensation & Benefits
Anticipated salary is $62,000 annually.
This is a Faculty (FAC) position. NAU offers an excellent benefit package including generous health, dental and vision insurance; participation in the Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS) or the Optional Retirement Program (ORP); sick leave accruals and 10 holidays per year; and tuition reduction for employees and qualified family members. About the Department/College
The Doctoral Program in Clinical Psychology (PsyD) is housed in the Department of Clinical Psychology in the College of Education and is located on Northern Arizona University's North Valley Campus in Phoenix, Arizona. The program is APA accredited-on-contingency and trains students toward a doctorate in clinical psychology (PsyD degree) that is license eligible. Currently, the student body is close to 200 graduate students with eleven core faculty members.
About the Position
The Department of Clinical Psychology is inviting applications for a full-time, non-tenure track, Assistant Teaching Professor in the PsyD program in Clinical Psychology. The position starts as early as January 2025 or when the position is filled. The position is a 10-month academic year position (August through May) with opportunities for summer teaching.
The faculty member hired for this position will teach graduate courses to students enrolled in the PsyD program at the North Valley campus in Phoenix. Successful candidates will have a passion for, and skill in providing, high-quality clinical care, as well as graduate-level teaching, clinical supervision, and mentoring of PsyD students.

Responsibilities Include:
Teaching and Advising
• Teach, in-person, graduate clinical psychology classes for the doctoral program in Clinical Psychology.
• Assist in recruiting, retaining, and advising doctoral students in Clinical Psychology.
• Direct graduate student clinical research projects.
Service
• Fulfill service responsibilities to the department, college, university, and the profession (i.e. by serving on committees)
• Work collaboratively with behavioral health service agencies to coordinate practicum and internship experiences for clinical psychology students as needed.
• Assist in course and program planning.
• Other duties as assigned.
This position is an on-site position which requires the incumbent to complete their work primarily at an NAU site, campus, or facility with or without accommodation. Opportunities for remote work are rare.

Minimum Qualifications
• Earned Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, or in a closely related area of Psychology. Candidates who are ABD are also encouraged to apply and will be considered with the condition that their doctoral degree is completed within the first year of appointment.
• Instructional Experience (can include college teaching, teaching assistantship, workshops or seminars).
• A record that demonstrates a contribution to student success through effectiveness in teaching and other student-related responsibilities or the promise of such effectiveness if the candidate has no prior teaching experience.
• Eligibility for licensure as a psychologist in Arizona.

• Graduate of an APA accredited program in clinical psychology.
• Earned a doctorate in clinical psychology by December 2024.
• Two or more years of relevant teaching experience in the scientific foundation area of clinical psychology (can be teaching assistantship etc.).
• Ability/experience or strong interest in recruiting, advising, and mentoring graduate students.

The School of Informatics, Computing, and Cyber Systems at Northern Arizona University brings together interdisciplinary expertise in cybersecurity, computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, eco/environmental informatics, astro informatics, and bio/health informatics. The School of Informatics, Computing, and Cyber Systems (SICCS) at Northern Arizona University seeks to hire a tenure-track Assistant Professor with expertise in Health Services Research, Health Informatics, Data Science, Biostatistics and/or Epidemiology to expand our expertise in the broad area of health equity.
The successful candidate will hold a regular tenure-track faculty appointment in the School of Informatics, Computing, and Cyber Systems (SICCS) as well an assignment as a core member of the Center for Health Equity Research (CHER), a nationally recognized research center that seeks to eliminate health disparities among diverse populations of the southwestern United States. A.T. Still University's School of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona is seeking applications for full-time exempt Clinical Faculty at the Assistant Professor level on the Mesa, Arizona campus. This position will create and provide osteopathic medical student years I-IV educational content that integrates foundational, clinical, and osteopathic sciences in a variety of online and live presentations, which includes podcasts, small group case-based facilitation, and clinical laboratory sessions integrating osteopathic principles and practice, medical skills, and ultrasound.
**Duties & Responsibilities:**
+ Faculty will contribute to ATSU-SOMA in the areas of educating students in years 1-4, scholarly activity, diversity, equity and inclusion, and service to the University and community. Faculty will be assessed annually on the basis of educational effectiveness, professionalism, adaptability, commitment, dependability, and innovation/vision.

A.T. Still University's Arizona School of Health Sciences (ATSU-ASHS) invites applications for a full-time faculty member in the Speech-Language Pathology Program. The program is housed in the Department of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology. We are seeking vibrant and innovative individuals at the instructor or assistant professor level. Appointment will be for 12 months with rank and salary commensurate with academic credentials and experience. Position to begin in the month of June 2024 or as soon as possible.
The cornerstone of the program is the education of speech-language pathologists with a focus on culturally responsive practices. The new faculty member should value diversity, interprofessional practice, and education, and support the mission of the university for whole person healthcare. We are seeking faculty with expertise across all areas of speech, language, and swallowing disorders and across the lifespan with an emphasis on school-based, autism, fluency, and AAC experience. The program provides a wide spectrum of state-of-the-art medical speech pathology instrumentation and equipment for student education and faculty research.
The major responsibility of this position includes serving as a faculty advisor in the academic and clinical areas. The program does not have an on-campus clinic, but some supervision may be required (examples include: activities in the classroom, simulations, community screenings, or health fairs). Graduate teaching responsibilities include teaching several courses in different areas of the Speech-Language Pathology graduate program curriculum. Engagement in professional and scholarly activities and service to the university and community are required. The ideal candidate will be interested in participating in collaborative clinical opportunities and research.
**Desired Qualifications:**
+ Candidates with expertise in bilingualism and/or bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

+ At least 5+ years in clinical practice.

+ CCC-SLP required.

A.T. Still University's Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health (ATSU - ASDOH) is seeking a full-time exempt General Dentist for the CCU Clinic at the Assistant Professor level. This is a 0.8 FTE position on the Mesa, Arizona campus. The Assistant Professor will conduct teaching, patient care, scholarly and service activities in support of the mission, goals and objectives of the School and University with primary responsibility to facilitate the students’ clinical experience from foundational knowledge and clinical skills to demonstrating competency in patient-centered care that integrates biomedical, behavioral and clinical sciences.
**Duties & Responsibilities:**
+ General – promote an atmosphere of respect, collegiality, commitment to diversity and social justice, and humanistic learning environment.
+ General – conduct teaching, scholarship, service and patient care in support of the mission and goals of ASDOH and ATSU.
+ Teaching – clinical supervision as a general dentist in the CCUs or other ASDOH clinics; effectively carry out lecture, seminar, preclinical and clinical assignments as assigned.
+ Service – Participate in committees, faculty governance, professional societies and associations, and community events.
+ Scholarship - As workload allows, establish and maintain activity in area of expertise.
+ Clinical Supervision: Provide clinical supervision of predoctoral dental students in patient care activities within the scope of general dentistry.
+ Documentation: Complete documentation on student performance and progress towards competency; review and approve EHR.
+ Enforce clinic policy including infection control, quality improvement, risk management, recordkeeping, etc & assure safety
+ Provide direct patient care that supports community service, efficient clinic operations, student education, or when in the best interest of the patient (e.g: treatment is too complex for assigned student provider).
+ Instruct students in the simulation clinic as assigned; collaborate with Course Director on assessment of student performance.
+ Effectively carry out lecture, seminar and clinical assignments and responsibilities as assigned, including appropriate student assessment.
+ Be readily available to students for mentoring and consultation.
+ Other responsibilities as assigned.
**Experience & Education:**
+ DDS or DMD degree required.
+ Three to five years experience in private practice or advanced graduate training as a general dentist or prosthodontist.
+ Experience in clinical dental teaching is preferred.
+ Knowledge of contemporary techniques and skills in the scope of general dentistry.
+ Excellent communication and organizational skills.
+ Must be able to be self-directed and take the initiative.
+ Must be highly skilled in general dentistry.
+ Must be eligible for Arizona Dental License.
