A summer camp counselor may be the most fun job you ever have! It takes great energy, enthusiasm, creativity, flexibility, and patience. We are currently seeking Extended Stay Counselors (part time) to join our team!
Extended Stay Extended Stay staff provide supervision at the end of the day when camp is over and the majority of campers have left. Staff engage with campers playing fun games and activities such as sports, board games, collaborative games, or coloring. Staff will ensure campers are signed out, communicate any camp related messages to the parents, and follow all camp standards and policies. Responsibility for the campers and an eye for safety is paramount.
Hours will be 3:15pm - 6:15pm, Monday - Thursday & until 7pm on Fridays
Key Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, stoop, crouch or swim for up to 5 hours in the water
Ability to lift, hold, and/or move equipment or small child up to 50 pounds
Must be 15 years or older
Basic Life Saving Certification (BLS) Required for each role at Camp. If you do not currently have a BLS certification, that's OK! Once hired, we can help you find where to go get certified so you can have your BLS certification before camp starts!

Arizona Early Head Start provides early education for children birth to 3-years-old, parent involvement and family support, and comprehensive health and nutrition education for children. The Lead Teacher is responsible for all aspects of planning, assessing and instructing based on the needs of each child, and the requirements of the program. We want change makers who never stop being curious, inventive, and open-hearted to prepare children for Kindergarten and beyond.
As a Lead Teacher, you’ll:
+ Create! Develop fun, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow Teachers.
+ Care! Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the preschool children in your class.
+ Call the shots! Take the lead on classroom management and curriculum implementation, plus be an expert on all licensing guidelines, company standards and Headstart program requirements.
+ Communicate! Build sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote achievement for the child and to support your center’s success.
We want energetic, dependable, passionate individuals who are at least 18 and have:
+ Associate’s Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or CDA in Infant/Toddler
+ Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans
+ The ability to meet state requirements for education and our childcare center requirements.
+ The ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
