Job Summary:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for safely completing maintenance assignments to build, repair and/or maintain all equipment in good operating condition as quickly and accurately as possible, while keeping associated costs to a minimum to help meet Plant goals. The Maintenance Technician is expected to be multi-skilled and able to contribute to plant maintenance activities in a variety of craft disciplines.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

+ Completes projects with minimal guidance showing a proactive attitude to minimizing equipment down time and lost production capability.

+ Troubleshoots mechanical devices in operation. Dismantles and examines devices to gain access to and remove defective parts. Adjusts, repairs or replaces defective parts.

+ Sets up and operates shop machinery such as drill press, grinders, band saws, cutting torch, welder. etc. Uses hand tools and pneumatic tools to modify or repair parts and equipment.

+ Installs new or repairs/modifies electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment as needed.

+ Improves reliability and uptime of all equipment. Takes a proactive approach to equipment issues with a preventive maintenance mentality.

+ Operates forklift and aerial lift platform as needed.

+ Ability to understand and repair steam systems and monitor boiler operations.

+ Researches supplies, parts and tools needed to efficiently complete work orders.

+ Assists in identifying and maintaining an accurate inventory of parts by effective utilization of a CMMS.

+ Contributes to upkeep and updating of required paperwork such as records, maintenance logs, documents, manuals, drawings, PM logs, etc.

+ Supports the vision, mission and guiding principles of the company.

+ Follows applicable Safety, Health and Environmental rules and guidelines while performing job duties.

+ Maintains departmental housekeeping standards.

Requirements

Required Education and Skills

+ Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ Must be willing to complete Maintenance Technician Apprenticeship

+ Must have basic skills on use of computers: MS Office, Windows.

+ Requires the ability to safely operate a wide variety of tools such as hand tools, power tools, drill press, band saw, welder, cutting torch, etc.

+ Must be able to navigate electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics and blueprints for planning and troubleshooting.

+ Must be able to read, communicate and comprehend written and oral instructions; read and comprehend safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, equipment files, etc.

+ Ability to effectively work at heights and in confined spaces.

+ Must have knowledge of mechanical systems including gear boxes, motors, air compressors, pumps, AC, DC, drive troubleshooting, etc.

+ Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong organization skills and self-starter motivation. Prioritization skills in alignment with production priorities. Continuous Improvement mindset and results oriented.

+ Must have math skills to add, subtract, multiply and divide and the ability to perform these operations to calculate equations for weight measurement, volume, and distance, etc.

+ Must have ability to reason and address problems safely and efficiently.

+ Must have manual dexterity sufficient to operate a wide variety of hand tools, hand trucks, forklift, mechanical platforms and lifts, bench tools, welders, saws, drills etc.

Years of Experience:

+ 5 years of prior experience in industrial maintenance, electrical, mechanical, or in a related field; or a combination of education and experience deemed equivalent

Required Certification, Licenses, Registration:

+ Journeyman card preferred/ Specific Craft Certification/Licenses a plus

**The Role**

**The Main Responsibilities**

+ Responsible for identifying and resolving customer reported trouble.

+ Providing advanced technical support to include remote trouble diagnostics and correction.

+ Assist with answering customer calls during overflow /outage situations.

+ Updates status to customers on an as required basis.

**What We Look for in a Candidate**

**Required Qualifications:**

+ 5+ years of technical customer-facing call center experience

+ Cisco CCNA certifications or equivalent IT technology awareness i.e. Juniper certification

+ Detailed understanding of DS0/1 and 3 circuits: point to point, private line, and Ethernet

+ Previous experience troubleshooting complex network problems involving power, network hardware, routers, CSU, or carrier services

+ Experience working on complex translations troubles and/or maintenance assignments related to network switching equipment to resolve trouble tickets

+ Advanced expertise with IP routing on multiple router platforms, knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols, and IP addressing, and demonstrated ability to excel at working on complex MPLS issues

+ Advanced layer 1 troubleshooting for DS0, DS1, DS3, point to point, private line, and Ethernet circuits with the ability to understand and isolate physical layer problems

**Suitability Requirements:**

SUMMARY:

AutoZone's Maintenance Technician provides support to AutoZone retail stores by providing preventative maintenance within an assigned geographical area. Maintenance Technicians perform routine maintenance and repairs of buildings, equipment, and utility systems; perform scheduled preventative maintenance inspections; work on special projects as requested, and perform required safety inspections.

With supervision, the Fleet Technician I is responsible for the maintenance and repair of all Mobile Storage rental fleet equipment, including containers, ground level offices, office trailers, and/or modular buildings. It is the responsibility of the Fleet Technician I to perform all cleaning and maintenance tasks in a safe manner in accordance with company standards. The Fleet Technician I must also be capable of effectively performing all duties of an Equipment Associate.

**What you’ll do:**

+ Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of Mobile Storage quality standards:

+ Ability to perform basic maintenance and repairs, including but not limited to, remove and repair flooring, tiles, roofs, walls, frames, doors, leaks, caulking, windows, screens, painting, filters/dampers, replacing skins and trim, tagging of equipment, removal/install of UR decals and equipment numbers

+ Hooking mobile office to power source

+ Checking tire pressure and lugs

+ Complete assignments on time and within budget

+ Complete assignments as documented on Work Orders

+ Complete necessary documentation (work order, etc.)

+ Travel to customer sites to set office trailers and assist CDL A Drivers when needed

+ Equipment Modifications:

+ Complete in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications and state and local building codes

+ Complete in accordance with approved specifications

+ Complete assignments on time and within budget

+ Organization and Cleanliness of Shop, Yard, Tools and Supplies :

Position Description

Primary purpose:

+ The primary purpose of this position is to maintain, repair, align/calibrate, and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment and instrumentation, as well as assist local and regional personnel in the development of safety procedures and policies for specific systems and facilities.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

+ Troubleshoot, repair, maintain and calibrate equipment such as:

pumps and motors, mainline and manifold control valves, turbine and positive displacement meters, proving equipment, tank gauging equipment, pressure and temperature gauges and SCADA equipment, as well as the equipment SCADA interfaces with.

+ Maintains, and repairs electrical equipment including but not limited to:

Valve actuators, medium voltage switch gear and substation equipment, motor circuit protectors, motor control centers, truck loading equipment and control systems, remote station control systems, pressure transmitters, tank level measurement systems, tank high level alarm systems, electronic and PLC based controllers, digital display equipment, lighting circuits, safety systems and devices including pressure and shutdown devices, teletype, SCADA transmission equipment as well as automated fire control systems.

+ Maintains records as required by Department of Transportation for designated equipment and devices.

+ Maintains maintenance and repair records for area equipment.

+ Must maintain accurate and timely CMV logs and documentation.

+ Assist in training of other technicians in all aspects of maintenance.

+ Consistently maintain and demonstrate a high regard for personal safety, for the safety of company assets and employees, and the general public.

OTHER DUTIES:

+ Supports all regional projects and works with other station personnel when the need arises.

+ Assists with corporate engineered projects as requested including preoperational testing, startup and commissioning.

+ Works with vendors and their technicians on new and repaired or upgraded equipment.

+ May be asked to inspect and document contract work on company assets.

+ Supports company and contract inspectors on area and regional projects.

Position Requirements

Minimum requirements:Education:

**Job Description**

1 In compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), responsible for collecting plasma samples and moving plasma units to freezer to ensure product quality.

2 Ensures plasma units are properly stored according to SOPs, which could include unsuitable plasma units and samples.

3 Ensures accuracy of unit labeling by verifying the pre-printed label matches the dynamic label.

4 Utilizes sterile technique to draw samples and uses heat sealer to assure the sterility and quality of plasma unit samples per SOPs.

5 May ensure samples and units are packed and shipped in accordance with SOPs and center procedures. Prepares shipping and unit disposal documentation.

6 Monitors freezer and refrigerator temperatures and immediately informs appropriate personnel if equipment is not functioning properly. Records variances.

7 Conducts daily calibration of equipment according to SOPs.

8 Ensures the accurate recording of donor data in the electronic donor information management system as outlined in the SOPs.

9 Understands the policies and procedures associated with hyper immune programs at the center if applicable.

10 Maintains clean efficient work environment, and ensures sufficient operating supplies and forms are available as needed. Follows all Health Safety & Environmental (HSE) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) policies and procedures. Promotes safety in all actions.
