As a Lead Engineering Technician with Honeywell Aerospace Technologies (AERO) in Torrance, CA, you will play a critical role in assisting the engineering function within the company. You will be accountable for providing technical expertise, guidance, and operational facilitation to the engineering teams. The Guide Engineering Technician will work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of engineering projects and the achievement of business objectives.

In this role, you will have a direct impact on the company's ability to drive innovation, deliver high-quality products, and achieve business objectives. Your technical expertise, attention to detail, and dedication to excellence will contribute to the success and growth of our organization.

The annual base salary range for this position is $74,000 -$92,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Provide technical expertise and guidance to the engineering teams

+ Facilitate the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects

+ Work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive innovation and achieve business objectives

+ Ensure adherence to engineering best practices, quality standards, and regulatory requirements

+ Manage and optimize engineering resources, budgets, and timelines

+ Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity

+ Guide and develop a high-performing engineering team

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.

MUST HAVE

+ 2+ years of experience as an Engineering Technician or in a similar role

+ Strong technical expertise in the relevant engineering discipline

+ Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities

+ Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision

WE VALUE

+ Associate’s degree in engineering or a related field

+ 2+ years HVAC service experience and refrigerant certification to EPA 608

+ Strong communication and people-oriented skills

+ Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams

+ Dedication to continuous learning and professional development
