**Responsibilities**

Under the direction of a physician, a Certified Orthopedic Technologist provides clinical and clerical assistance in the care and treatment of the orthopedic patient in the outpatient setting. Orthopedic Technologist performs the functions of the job within the scope set by the National Board of Certified Orthopedic Technologists and within established policies and procedures. This position requires complete understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of the organization and creating an exceptional patient experience. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of the Organization. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values.

**Qualifications**

Minimum:

+ Certification of Orthopaedic Technician with The National Board for Certification of Orthopaedic Technologists. - NBCOT

+ AHA BLS

Preferred:

+ Medical Assistant Certification or LVN licensure

**Pay Range**

$34.02 - $38.53 /hour
