The City of Chandler Community Services Department is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in joining our team as aRecreation Specialist at Tumbleweed Recreation Center.The position is scheduled to work Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and occasional evenings/weekends as needed.

Minimum Qualifications
• A High School Diploma or GED; and
• 2 years of experience in a youth recreation or adult activity program; and
• A First Aid/CPR Certification upon hire or promotion; and
• A valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record; or
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.
Desired Qualifications
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Experience working with the senior (55+) population and the ability to interact effectively with the public
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365
• Experience with recreation management and registration software
This is a regular full-time position subject to a 6-month probationary period. Should another position become available, a register of qualified candidates will be active for 4 months.
