**Where You Will Work **

Located approximately 50 miles northeast of Safford, Arizona on U.S. Highway 191, Morenci operations (an open-pit copper mining complex) has been in continuous operation since 1939. The operation consists of two concentrators, crushed-ore leach pad and stacking system, a low-grade run-of-mine (ROM) leaching system; four SX plants; and three EW tank houses that produce copper cathode.

**Description**

Supervise a cross-functional team of Supply Chain personnel. Responsible for measuring and managing performance to ensure the effectiveness of the team, and resolve issues as needed in support of maintenance and operations at one or more sites.

+ Supervise team of Contract Controls Specialists and Materials Planning Specialists, including hiring team members, writing and conducting performance reviews and regularly provide feedback to employees, both verbally and written.

+ Provide direction and oversight of all site sourcing activities, working closely in the field with customers.

+ Manage and triage subordinates workload, including collaborative planning, master data requests, expedite requests, obsolescence, rotables, bulks, part changes and services requests.

+ Monitor KPI and forecasting performance measures to ensure customer service levels are met and communicated. Responsible for measuring and monitoring direct reports’ performance.

+ Supervise the implementation of new or enhanced supply chain processes. Communicate to and educate customers where necessary.

+ Ensure adherence to General Accounting Principles (GAAP), financial laws (SEC), Company policies, internal controls (SOX) and Principles of Business Conduct (PBC) etc.

+ Manage special/periodic responsibilities, including: Obsolescence, Rotables & Bulks, Part Changes & Requests.

+ Ensure adherence to correct safety and operating procedures and compliance with appropriated federal and state laws and regulations.

+ Perform other duties as required.

**Qualifications**

**Minimum Qualifications**

+ High School diploma or GED **and** seven (7) years of experience in Global Supply Chain **including** (5) years in the mining industry, and **including** supervisory or lead experience; **OR**

+ High School diploma or GED **and** seven (7) years of experience in the mining industry, **including** (5) years directly interfacing with supply chain, and **including** supervisory or lead experience; **OR**

+ Bachelor’s degree **and** five (5) years of experience in Global Supply Chain, mining industry, or a related field, **including** supervisory or lead experience; **OR**

+ Master’s degree **and** three (3) years of experience in Global Supply Chain, mining industry, or a related field, **including** supervisory or lead experience

**Preferred Qualifications**

+ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field

+ Five (5) years of experience in the mining industry

+ Demonstrated experience with ISN (ISNetworld) for contract management and compliance

+ Data analysis skills, proficiency in breaking down and analyzing data using Power BI and Excel

+ Reporting skills, ability to effectively report out data insights and findings

+ Communication skills for interacting with executives and senior leadership

+ Experience in contract negotiating and managing contract health

+ Proven leadership skills to supervise and guide a team effectively

+ High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data and contract management

+ Strong problem-solving abilities to address and resolve contract related issues

**Criteria/Conditions**

+ Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures given in English

+ Ability to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standards

+ Must be able to work in a potentially stressful environment

+ Position is in busy, non-smoking office

+ Location requires mobility in an office environment

+ Occasionally work may be performed in a mine, outdoor or manufacturing plant setting

+ Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walk

+ Must be able to frequently lift and carry up to ten (10) pounds

+ Personal protective equipment is required when performing work in a mine, outdoor, manufacturing or plant environment, including hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves and any other protective equipment as required

**What We Offer You**

The estimated annual pay range for this role is currently **$82,000-$113,000** . This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance.
