Our client, a leading provider of innovative armor solutions, is seeking a Buyer II to join their team. As a Buyer II, you will be part of the Supply Chain organization supporting various internal teams. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Buyer II

**Location:** Chandler, AZ

**Pay Range:** $80,000

**What's the Job?**

+ Manage the procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

+ Prepare Supplier Request for Quotation (RFQ) or Request for Proposal (RFP) and evaluate responses in support of manufacturing, compliance, and supplier viability to contract award.

+ Negotiate price, quality, delivery, and other terms and conditions with the supply base.

+ Process and document all procurement actions in accordance with state, federal statutes, and accounting policies.

+ Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to understand and anticipate procurement needs.

**What's Needed?**

+ Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management.

+ Strong analytical and negotiation skills.

+ Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

+ Familiarity with FAR/DFAR and other government procurement requirements.

+ Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
