Our client, a leading provider of innovative armor solutions, is seeking a Senior Buyer to join their team. As a Senior Buyer, you will be part of the procurement team supporting critical defense and security applications. The ideal candidate will have strong negotiation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage supplier relationships effectively, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Senior Buyer
**Location:** Chandler, AZ
**Pay Range:** $100,000.00 Yearly
**What's the Job?**
+ Manage the procurement of materials, components, and services, ensuring compliance with government regulations and contract requirements.
+ Collaborate with internal teams to understand procurement needs and timelines.
+ Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve optimal value.
+ Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues to ensure on-time delivery and quality standards.
+ Prepare and present procurement reports to senior management.
**What's Needed?**
+ Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
+ Extensive experience with government purchasing and Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) requirements.
+ Thorough knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and other applicable regulations.
+ Proven ability to navigate the complexities of federal contracts.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
