The Boeing Company is seeking a qualified **Registered** **Nurse Lead** to lead the enterprise-wide service delivery of the Post Offer Pre-Employment Medical Screening (POMS) Program. This role will be located in **Mesa, AZ.**

**Position Responsibilities:**

+ Oversee daily operations of the Post-Offer Pre-Employment Medical Screening (POMS) program

+ Assess work quality and compliance to process requirements of POMS Registered Nurses

+ Monitor cycle times and workloads of POMS staff; re-allocates work as required to meet business needs

+ Develop and analyze metrics and data reports to assess quality and compliance, identify trends, and risk areas

+ Identify and prioritize process improvement opportunities

+ Lead meetings with internal staff, business partners and customers

+ Manage projects and key process improvement initiatives

+ Onboarding of new staff to POMS process and procedures

+ Perform Post-Offer, Pre-Placement Medical Screening under physician direction, and in compliance with the ADA Amendments Act

+ Evaluate medical condition(s) in relation to job demands for new applicants, former employees being reconsidered for employment, and current employees transferring into new positions

+ Assess the need for medical restrictions, and/or accommodations, by reviewing health questionnaires and medical records and conducting telephonic interviews.

+ Identify and communicate occupational health exam requirements for specific jobs / positions

+ Consult with Boeing physicians and community health care providers, as needed, to clarify applicant medical restrictions.

+ Review medical information to determine whether employees are qualified to work on sensitive or proprietary programs

+ Input notes, medical documentation, and medical clearance status into the electronic Medical Information System

A successful candidate will:

+ Work is in fast-paced environment with the need to independently prioritize time and work effectively based on work statement

+ Have the ability to analyze and manage POMS operations, with a focus on continuous quality improvement

+ Have the ability to handle multiple concurrent assignments ranging from simple to complex while meeting deadlines. Requires flexibility to meet changing business and program requirements

+ Have problem solving and analytical skills, and the ability to quickly understand processes

+ Be a self-starter with high level of motivation, and strong organizational and time management skills

+ Work collaboratively as a team in order to review and resolve complex problems and complete compliance activities by established deadlines

+ Effectively present and communicate information and respond to questions from management, business partners, and employees

+ Require attention to detail to create and maintain accurate and complete records

+ Require attention to detail in order to quickly identify, resolve and/or communicate quality, compliance or process risks and discrepancies

+ Require awareness of standard PII and requirements for handling, protecting and communicating sensitive/confidential data

+ Use Microsoft Excel, Word, Internet, and use of data systems required in order to document work activities, perform case management, monitor and track activities and provide work status and reports as required

**This Position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the Mesa, AZ location.**

**This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.**

**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):**

+ Bachelor's Degree

+ 5+ years of Registered Nurse experience

+ Currently hold an active Registered Nurse license in the state of Arizona, or eligible to obtain such licensure

**Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):**

+ 1+ year with nurse case management

+ Experience in occupational health

+ 1+ year with Disability Management and/or administering Reasonable Accommodation

+ CCM (Certified Case Manager) or COHN (Certified Occupational Health Nurse) certification

+ Proficient in use of Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Outlook, DocuSign

+ Program management experience

+ Knowledge of applicable Americans with Disabilities Act, and Occupational Health nursing practices and principles

**Typical Education/Experience:**

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

**Relocation:**

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

**Shift:**

This position is for 1st shift.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $96,050 - $129,950
