**Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems** is seeking a **Manager Pricing Cost Estimating 2** to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located **on site** in **Melbourne, Florida.**

**Job Description:**
Responsible for leading a Price/Cost Team, who support both prime and supplier acquisitions. The Manager will be responsible for and act as the main focal point to the proposal team for all major proposal related activities within their portfolio, escalating issues to Senior Level management as needed and brief internal leadership on the status/issues affecting the completion of performance obligations. It is the Manager’s job to ensure all portfolio proposals are meeting Customer, Program, and Company needs. The manager will further be responsible for managing the personnel on their team – coaching, growing, guiding, and enriching their careers as they manage related tasks.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
+ Comprehensive review of all proposal and internal estimates including: direct labor, material, Other Direct Cost and indirect costs
+ Ensure proposal compliance with FAR, DFARS, and Northrop Grumman procedures.
+ Demonstrating a broad skill set that is balanced across interpersonal, business, and proposal-based capabilities; a commitment to ethics and integrity; and the capability to innovate in a challenging and dynamic environment.
+ Manage the team workscope and assignments in alignment with the program proposal support needs.
+ Ensure cost, schedule, and technical elements in the development of proposals in accordance with request for proposal (RFP) specifications.
+ Facilitates / leads senior leadership reviews
+ Participates in fact-finding meetings.
+ Participates in should-cost and pricing reviews with management and customer representatives.
+ Participates as a member of the contract negotiating team.
+ Develop direct labor and cost estimating factors.
+ Analysis of estimating factors.
+ Facilitate the implementation of new proposal tools.
+ Provide training to estimating community on utilization of estimating tools and best practices.
+ Provide timely and accurate proposal status. Escalate conflicts or priority concerns as required.
+ Configures and maintains ProPricer rate tables and live cost models.
+ Develop and support generation of risk management strategies.
+ Provide supporting data to CAM for financials.
+ Develop and build upon best practices to support proposal / process requirements.
+ Leverages effective written and verbal communication skills across all levels of personnel, management, and functions.
**Basic Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s degree with 7 years of experience, or a Master’s degree with 5 years of experience with combined experience in any of the following: Proposal Management, Cost Management or Contracts Management
+ Experience with ProPricer
+ Strong Microsoft Excel experience
+ Familiarity with Earned Value Concepts
+ Team Leadership Experience – Manager or Team Lead experience
+ Working knowledge of Government Contracting requirements (FAR / DFARs)
+ **Active Secret Clearance issued by the Department of Defense**
+ Ability to obtain and maintain Program Clearance within a reasonable amount of time determined by the business, prior to starting
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Top Secret Clearance issued by the Department of Defense
+ Master’s degree in business administration or related field of study
+ Working knowledge of SAP and ability to analyze actuals
+ Experience on highly complex proposals

**Salary Range:** $122,800 - $184,200
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
